Handsome ginger, Doc Martin, was found as a stray by a kind person who planned on giving him a home. Sadly, he did not get along with her other cats and came to MLAR. Doc is a wary guy who needs to be an only pet. He also needs time to get to know people and was very scared when he first arrived. Now that he is getting used to his favorite staff and volunteers, he is showing how much he enjoys to be pet and especially likes chin rubs. Doc will need an experienced owner who is able to read his cues. He would do best in a quiet home with no or older children. We know that deep down he is a sweet cat. He just needs the right environment to flourish.
