Howdy, I'm Matteo! I initially came to the shelter as a stray and after some time I found a wonderful home, but sadly they fell on hard times and had to bring me back to the shelter. Now my search begins again for the perfect family. I can be a bit sensitive with handling and shy around new people, but I do enjoy lots of attention and affection once I warm up. My previous adopter did mention that I can be especially weary of strangers coming into the home, so a quieter environment is preferable. I would like to be the only pet in the home because I don't want to share the spotlight. I also ask that any kids in the home be 8 and older who can respect my sensitivity and boundaries.
