For one of our longest-term residents, Boyers, life outside the shelter walls is a world of comfort he's only recently discovered. Thanks to one of our dedicated volunteers, Boyers is enjoying a special two-week "vacation" in a home, and watching him settle into this temporary refuge has been beyond heartwarming.
Boyers is around 5-6 years old, and he came to us from a home that held over 70 Chihuahuas. He loves little dogs! Despite his challenging start, he's been nothing but sweet and patient, and shown us what an incredible boy he is.
In his temporary foster home, Boyers has found such peace-a place to nap undisturbed, a quiet place to watch the world go by, and a friend to remind him of the love he's so deserving of.
But, this will only last two weeks, and that's where we need your help. We want Boyers to feel this peace every single day, not just as a short-lived dream.
