Meet Bernard

All about Bernard

Bernard is a 5 years, 1 month old male Siberian Husky who weighs 50 pounds.

Hello, my name is Bernard and let me tell you my tale. I'm a shy husky that came to the shelter as a stray. While the shelter doesn't know my background, they suspect I might've been an outside boy. While I am pretty good about keeping my kennel clean and going potty on walks, I am going to need work on housebreaking - but no worries, I'm a smart boy that picks up routine.

Like many others of my breed, I don't always like being left alone and can get into mischief when unattended. My future family would ideally have some husky experience and be prepared to teach me how awesome a crate can be. If not crated, I tend to get bored and want to chew on things.

Beyond those naughty things, I am good with other dogs and love mostly all people! I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am open to try. Kiddos, I'd prefer them to be at least 8 and up because I can get a little over-excited and don't know how to contain that.

Do you have room in your home for a pup like me? If the answer is yes then come down to the shelter and lets meet!
