Hi, my name is Dagen! Believe it or not, I was found astray, and no one came looking for me. I am a handsome young Akita, and the shelter is no place for a big pup like me. True to my breed I am headstrong and very intelligent. I am looking for my furever home with someone who has experience with Akita's or dogs with a similar temperament. I have some mild handling sensitivity and I ask that any children in the home be 8 and older, as well as dog-savvy. I may enjoy canine companionship, which could help keep me on my best behavior. I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am open to trying with proper introduction. Once I let my initial guard down I am a very affectionate, loyal, and kind-hearted dog.
