Sweet Maddy just has not had any luck in finding a forever home. Her most recent owner passed away a few months after she was adopted. Family members had kept her and really loved her, but they fell on hard times and made the difficult decision to return her to MLAR. Maddy originally came to MLAR in 2022 after her first owner passed away. She was adopted later in 2022. Since coming to MLAR, Maddy has settled in and looks for pets and attention. She will come out of her cage and jump on the bench to sit on your lap or next to you. Maddy will roll on her back asking you to pet her (but not her belly!) One of her favorite activities is bird-watching from the porch. A big girl, Maddy has been on a diet since arriving and has already lost some weight. She will need to limit her food intake. Not a fan of other cats, Maddy wants to be your one and only. She is still a young cat who just wants another person to love and a stable home where she is safe. Could that be you?
