Julie came to us from a commercial breeding facility where she had many litters of puppies and little socialization. However, she has decided that people are fun, walking on a leash is definitely more fun than it was at first, and other dogs are fun. She is stopping on walks for pets, treats and even leaning in for some attention, such great progress in a short period of time. She came in with her friend Sunny (also available for adoption) and Julie was the more tentative at first but now has really started opening up. We are so proud of her!
Julie is a BIG girl, over 110 pounds, with a lovely soft brindle coat and big, beautiful head. Julie will take some time to adjust to a home environment since she has never lived in one and everything will be new to her, so we are looking for a home with time, patience and lots of love to help her learn how great a home can be!
