Meet Carrot

Video Introduction
All about Carrot

Carrot is a 6 years, 1 month old male Short Coat Chihuahua/Mix who weighs 16 pounds.

Carrot is currently in a foster home.

Carrot is a 5 year old Chihuahua Mix who was found as a stray by law enforcement. His condition when brought in originally showed signs of neglect and improper socialization. We will never know what happened before he came to us. But now that Carrot is with us, we are determined to find the right owner for him. Could it be you?!

We are looking for a savvy and experienced adopter who has had behaviorally challenged "princes" just like Carrot. He has shown handling sensitivities but is slowly getting better. In a new place, our furry friends are confused and skittish, it's all a brand new world to them. He can also get a bit grouchy if you move too fast and he doesn't know you. Slow and steady is best! He seems to like being around other dogs so he is open to meeting your resident pooch to see if they are a good match! He would also prefer a quieter, kid free home.

If Carrot sounds like the right fit for you please apply at www.mlar.org/adopt-application or stop by Tues-Sat 12-5pm for walk-in visits
