Meet Doom
Doom is a 11 years old male Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 9 pounds.
Life has not been easy for Doom. First of all, someone named him Doom. It's as if that was a premonition of things to come. He has been adopted and returned a couple times and was recently found as a stray that neighbors were feeding for a while. They brought him to ACCT when they noticed he looked sick. Doom is not a fan of being handled for medical treatment, although he does love to be pet. He also does not like other cats. After coming to MLAR, it was discovered that he has hyperthyroidism - which is easily treated with inexpensive medication. This poor, senior guy just wants a safe place to spend his golden years. He loves coming out of his cage and exploring the cat room. He will walk up to you asking for pets and is especially happy if you give him some treats! Doom is very social with people. He is not asking for much, just some food, his needed medication, a soft bed and some pets! Could you be the one to give that to him!
