Meet Jacob
Jacob is an adult male Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 10 pounds.
Shy Jacob came from a home with many cats. He was initially very shy and slow to trust. Staff and volunteers have been slowly working with him to let him know that pets and treats are good things! He received a much needed dental in our clinic and must have been in pain prior to it. Since having some teeth removed, he is feeling much better and loves being pet. He will roll on his side asking for more! Jacob is FIV+ which means he has a weakened immune system and can still live a long, healthy life. This sweet guy will need a special adopter who gives him the time he needs to be comfortable in a home. He is deserving of that. Could you be the one to give it to him?
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 11-5pm.
