Data Needs: Cats

Meet Fabio
Fabio is an adult male Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 7 pounds.
Sweet Fabio came from a home with over 100 cats. He was in desperate need of medical care. Most of his fur was missing and it looked so painful for him. He was treated by our clinic and recovered in a foster home. His foster mom reported that Fabio loves to be swaddled and then pet. It is easy to administer his medications and clean his ears and face. He absolutely loves neck rubs and purrs in delight.
Fabio is back at MLAR now and doing so well. His fur is almost completely regrown. His condition is being managed with a special diet - that he will need to continue for the rest of his life. He is much for friendly and social. He loves to come out and explore the cat room and really enjoys pets and attention from people.
This poor guy did not get the care he should have in the past. He is healing from that past neglect and doing so well. Fabio is hoping that someone will take a chance on him and spoil him in the future. Could that be you?
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 11-5pm.
