Meet Boots
Boots is a senior female Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 6 pounds.
Sweet senior Boots came to MLAR from ACCT in Philadelphia. This poor lady was injured and had been neglected. She ultimately had one of her back legs amputated. She is still able to get around fine - just not as gracefully as in the past!
Boots has a pretty, smiling face. She enjoys pets on her terms and will let you know when she has had enough. Her favorite spots to be pet are her head and chin. She is also a fan of lickable treats - definitely the way to her heart. This pretty lady would love to be back in a safe, love home to spend her golden years. Come meet her and see if she is the one for you.
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 11-5pm.
