Data Needs: Cats

Meet Sugar
Sugar is a 4 years, 3 months old female Domestic Shorthair/Mix cat who weighs 9 pounds.
Pretty Sugar must have had a guardian angel looking out for her. She was living on the streets and a kind person brought her in for TNR - to be spayed and then released. When our clinic staff met her, they realized that she is a friendly girl who is definitely adoptable and should not be back living outdoors. Sugar stayed in a foster home for awhile until MLAR had room for her. She is a sweet girl who enjoys being pet on her terms.
Sugar recently moved to our colony room and has really blossomed there. She loves spending time on the cat porch checking out birds and squirrels. She is playful and funny. She does like to be pet when she is in the right mood! She will let you know when she has had enough. Sugar is also a fan of licky treats - food is definitely the way to her heart. Sugar is tolerant of other cats but would probably prefer to be your one and only. She may be able to coexist with another low-key cat.
Sugar is hoping that someone comes for her soon. She is a friendly lady who would love to be in a home. Come meet her to see if she is the one for you.
If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of current address and a cat carrier. We are open daily 11-5pm.
