He is currently in a foster home.
Choco is a lovely, loving big hunk of a boy. He was surrendered by his owner when he could no longer meet Choco's needs. He has lived with children and is easy going, affectionate and laid back. He is also house and crate trained, so all in all a wonderful companion.
Update from his foster family:
Likes:
Marrow Bones, Snuggle time on the couch, Naps, Peanut butter in a kong, people. He wants to be by you the majority of the day, and likes to cocoon himself in blankets, and loves WALKS!
Skills:
Couch potato. For such a big dog, he walks very well on a leash. He knows sit, stay, paw and come when treats are involved. Totally housebroken with no accidents in the house.
He is crate trained but he doesn't like to go in there overnight and really doesn't need to.
Feeding:
FOOD! What food doesn't he like? This big guy scarfs down his food. Not a picky eater
and will clean his plate! Good dog!
If you are interested in adopting, please make an appointment so we can arrange for Choco to be here to meet you. Please come prepared -- bring a photo ID, proof of address, everyone resident in the home and if adopting a dog any other dog resident in the home along with their vaccination history. We are open daily from 10:30-5:30 but because he is in a foster home, we request an appointment.
